Q  –  What would you advise your younger self, knowing now what you know about life thus far?

A  –  I would tell my younger self to be always ready for what life throws at her because life isn’t what she sees it to be. I’d tell her that she’s stronger than she thinks and her power is in her heart and she will make it through everything through hard work and being humble always, and lastly I’d tell her God has always been there in times she thought He wasn’t.

Q  –  Who or what inspires your creativity?

A  –  My family is my biggest inspiration! I’ve been blessed into a family that is artistic and loving. My passion and curiosity for art started with them. With time my creativity was also inspired by the world. There is a lot of creative minds out there and I seek inspiration from them, to learn more and perfect my skills.

Art is made from both the heart and mind. My family embedded it in my heart and the world showed me how to utilise my creative mind. Now there’s the difference!…. and you need both to get better in your own creative world.

Q  –  What do you believe in?

A  –  I believe in my creator, for he gifted me many things including my passion for art. I believe in love, I believe in destiny!…

Q  –  The “Musso Genie” grants you three wishes, what will they be?

A  –  Reality check we all work for money lol… so my first wish is success in my career and achieving greatness. Secondly, I wish for everlasting happiness and love for all humanity.

Third wish, a long healthy life for everyone!

Q  –  Netflix and chill or go out?

A  –  I’d say both, at times it’s exhausting trying to make it out here and you’d just want that time to yourself and relax your mind but then there are times when you just wanna go have fun with friends or family and create beautiful memories that you live to remember and laugh about as you grow old.

Q  –  What does youth empowerment mean to you?

A  –  Youth empowerment to me means to take charge, know your worth, and implement positive change in our own lives and hopefully impact other people’s lives within our varied societies.

Q  –  Would you rather trade intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence?

A  –  Well I love my looks, I generally love myself. Intelligence is a very powerful weapon in life to have and with that said, I can’t trade intelligence for anything.. yup that’s staying hahaha!

Q  –  Last question Saida Batuli five years from now will be…..?

A  –  I say dream big or go home! In five years time Saida Batuli will be known everywhere (In Sha’Allah), becoming one of the worlds multi talented, influential young African women. With hard work I intend to make it a reality.
